Dr Christian Schneider

Dr Christian Schneider is Director of the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC).

Christian previously worked as Medical Head of Division Medicines Licensing and Availability at the Danish Medicines Agency, Head of Division EU Cooperation/Microbiology at the Paul-Ehrlich Institute in Germany.

Christian is also a former Chair of the Committee for Advanced Therapies at the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

He also acts as Head of Profession for scientists and engineers within the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency as a whole.
